For a more than a quarter of a century, the very best of Atlantic Canadian talent, in theatre, music, and dance, have gathered to showcase their talents for regional, national and international buyers at Contact East.
For this year’s conference, Contact East 2010 will be staged in Antigonish, Nova Scotia from September 23rd to 26th, 2010.
Contact East brings together artists and presenters to facilitate the number and diversity of performing arts activities in Canada and on international stages. It will involve four days of formal showcase events, primarily music, dance and theatre; Contact Rooms where artists, agents and presenters can interact to discuss availability, venues and other performing arts issues; and a variety of workshops, clinics and round table discussions which are relevant to the industry’s affairs.
It is an opportunity for those who present live entertainment throughout the Atlantic Provinces, to get together and discuss their particular ideas and concerns. Contact East 2010 will provide an unprecedented opportunity to network with, and to learn from, some of the best presenters in the businessfrom the Atlantic Provinces, across Canada, and internationally.
It will also be a great weekend for all lovers of theatre, music, and dance, with dozens of artists showcasing their talents—come and join us in Antigonish this October.
