After recording a DVD and touring with STING, Laila produced a new CD slated for release this fall - a highly anticipated follow-up to her last project, From Sea to Sky, which was named a “surefire winner” (Toronto Star), an “exceptional recording” (Montreal Gazette), and “superb” (Vancouver Province).
Named SOCAN Composer and Keyboardist of the Year at the 2005 National Jazz Awards, Laila has performed at world-class venues spanning five continents, including Carnegie Hall, the Cotton Club (Tokyo), and international festivals in Europe and South America. She has also toured with Chris Botti, Paula Cole, Suzanne Vega, and STING.
