 Sageev Oore is an award-winning concert pianist, Dora-nominated composer/arranger, ECMA-award winner (Gypsophilia), and a professor of computer science. His live music performances to classic silent films have been presented repeatedly to great acclaim at festivals in both Toronto and Halifax. Sageev has performed at major music festivals across Canada (Montreal Jazz, Hillside Folk, Vancouver Jazz, Ashkenaz, and many others), and is often broadcast on CBC Radio and Television. He conducts improvising and music workshops with children, and composes scores for film, dance and theatre.
